The need to treat everyone fairly and to stay away from the corruption that wealth and power enable is, however, acknowledged in other passages. In some passages, there is also an underlying equality of all people.
God is reclaiming a people to worship and glorify Him through faith and obedience. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ, God is saving a people for Himself. When we believe in Jesus, we are adopted into God’s family and become a part of God’s plan of salvation.
Put your trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t rely on your own understanding. Recognize him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
